458 nominees enlisted include 207 selected via raffle

Jeju Island will have its very first president of the Private Sports Council. The election committee held an open draw at 3 p.m. on January 2 at the Jeju Provincial Council of Sports.

A total of 458 candidates were enlisted, including 251 nominees from city and sports organizations recommended by the election management committee, and 207 candidates who were selected by a public raffle.

Candidates for the sports council president will register over a period of two days on January 4 and 5. They will be eligible for election campaigning from January 6 until the 14th, the day before the election.

Voting will be held on January 15 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Sarabong Multi-purpose Gymnasium in Jeju City and the Seogwipo Sports and Culture Center.

제주도체육회 선거관리위원회가
시체육회와 종목단체로부터 선거인 추천을 마감한 결과
모두 458명이 접수돼
이 가운데 추첨을 통해 207명의 선거인단을 선발했습니다.

1월 4일과 5일 이틀동안
체육회장 후보 등록이 진행되고
6일부터 선거 전날인
14일까지 후보자 선거운동이 가능합니다.

투표는 1월 15일 오후 1시부터 6시까지
제주시 사라봉 다목적체육관과
서귀포생활체육문화센터에서 진행됩니다.
