3. Class 5 vehicles banned during fine dust warning
30 CCTVs to be installed to enforce new law

Fines will be imposed if vehicles with class 5 emissions are found to be in operation when a fine dust advisory has been issued.

Starting in July, the province will impose a fine of 100,000 won on vehicles with Class 5 emissions levels, including diesel-powered cars manufactured before the year 2005, that are on the road after fine dust emergency reduction measures have been issued.

The province will install 30 CCTVs in areas with heavy traffic by June to enforce the new regulations.

Emergency vehicles, vehicles for the disabled, and vehicles for those with national merit will be exempt.

배출가스 5등급 차량이 운행할 경우 과태료가 부과됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 오는 7월부터
미세먼지 비상저감조치가 발령된 후에도 운행하는
2005년 이전 경유차 등
배출가스 5등급 차량에 대해
10만원의 과태료를 부과할 예정입니다.

이를 위해 오는 6월까지
교통량이 많은 지역 30곳에
운행제한 단속용 CCTV를 설치합니다.

반면 긴급차량이나 장애인차량, 국가유공자 차량은
단속 대상에서 제외됩니다.
