Chairman announces plan for new Wi-Fi Base

KCTV Jeju Broadcasting Company held an opening ceremony at KCTV Hall on the morning of the 2nd and commenced a new chapter for the new year.

During Chairman Gong Sung-yong’s (고성용) New Year speech, he encouraged all employees to carry out their work with a high sense of responsibility while fulfilling KCTV’s duties as the main local broadcaster, in order to grow into one of the most respected and reliable news broadcasting companies in the country.

The speech included plans to innovate the election broadcast for the April 15 National Assembly election and improve the content quality so that KCTV could be trusted and loved by the citizens.

The chairman also stated plans to establish a base for Wi-Fi service across Jeju in order to reach even the most remote areas of the island.


5. KCTV 시무식… "지역방송사로서 의무 다할터"

KCTV제주방송은
2일 오전 KCTV홀에서 시무식을 열고
새해 업무를 시작했습니다.

공성용 회장은 신년사를 통해
경자년 새해 임직원 모두
무거운 책임감을 갖고 업무에 임하자고 전제하고
지역방송사로서 의무를 다하는 것은 물론
전국에서 가장 모범적이고 건실하게
성장하는 한해가 되도록 힘을 모아 나가자고 강조했습니다.

특히 4.15 총선 선거방송을 혁신하고
자체 콘텐츠 품질을 향상시켜
도민에게 신뢰받고 사랑받는 방송이 될 수 있도록
하겠다고 말했습니다.

이와함께
제주전역 와이파이 서비스 기반을 구축하고
난시청은 물론 서비스 불량 지역을 완전히 해소하는
한 해가 될 수 있도록 하겠다고 역설했습니다.
