Measures for local governments’ operation of infrastructure included

Jeju's second airport has been included in the government's official third aviation policy basic plan.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has released the third basic aviation policy plan for promoting the second airport project in Jeju.

The plan states that the ministry will push for the second airport as planned to expand the airport infrastructure to cope with the rising demand for flights to and from Jeju Island.

The government's basic aviation policy plan also includs measures for the local governments' participation in the investment and operation of the airport infrastructure, such as airport runways and terminals.

특히 공항 활주로나 터미널 등
공항 인프라 전반에 대한 투자와 운영에
지자체가 참여하는 방안도
이번 정부의 항공정책기본계획에 반영됐습니다.
