4. Mandarin orange market remains sluggish
Prices have dropped over \2,000 since New Year’s Day

The price of mandarin oranges has dropped again since New Year’s Day.

According to the Province Citrus Marketing & Shipping Association, the average price of 5 kilograms of mandarin oranges at wholesale markets peaked at 8,900 won on New Year’s Day. The price dropped to 6,900 won last Saturday and hit a low of 6,200 won on Wednesday.

The market seemed promising at the start of the year, however the consumption of mandarin oranges remains sluggish. The province is now monitoring substandard products and have taken some off the market.

4일에는 6천 900원,

비상품은 물론 일부 상품까지 시장격리조치에 들어가며
잠시 반등세를 보였지만
여전히 소비가 늘지 않고 있습니다.
