5. Jeju City to accept applications for migrant workers
Up to 6 workers may be employed at a single farm

Jeju City has announced that they are receiving applications for migrant workers from farmers who are short on labor. The deadline to apply is April 13th.

Farmers and corporations can hire up to six foreign seasonal workers depending on the size of the farm.

The monthly salary provided must be 1.8 million won or more, and workers must also be provided with lodging and meals.

Jeju City has provided assistance to approximately 60 farms on the island, providing employment to an estimated 120 migrant workers since the program launched in 2017.

제주시가
일손 부족 농가를 대상으로
오는 13일까지 외국인 계절근로자 지원 신청을 받습니다.

농가나 법인은
영농규모에 따라 최대 6명까지
외국인 계절근로자를 고용할 수 있습니다.

월 급여는 180만 원 이상이며
근로자들의 숙식도 제공해야 합니다.

제주시는
지난 2017년 첫 도입 이후
지금까지 60여 농가에
외국인 계절근로자 120여 명을 지원했습니다.
