3. JCCI estimates \234,000 needed for ancestral rites this year
Average total cost drops 0.1% from last year

It will cost an estimated 234,900 won to buy all of the items needed to hold ancestral rites for the Lunar New Year.

The Jeju Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently surveyed prices of goods for ancestral rites, and the estimate for a four-person family this year is 0.1% lower than last year, when the total cost was 235,130 won.

The cost of vegetables and fish has increased, but it does not offset the drop in prices of fruit and processed goods.

The JCCI estimates the costs with the assumption that families will purchase 26 items for ancestral rites, including fruit, seafood and vegetables.

품목별로는
채소류와 생선류 물가가 오르기는 했지만
과일류와
가공품의 가격은 내린 것으로 조사됐습니다.

한편 차례상 비용은
과실류와 나물 채소류, 율류, 해산물 등
26개 품목을 올린다는 가정하에 산출된 가격입니다.
