5. Jeju Tourism Organization to promote the opening of Hallyu Festival
\300M earmarked for first-ever festival

The Jeju Tourism Organization is planning to spend \300 million to hold the Hallyu Festival this year.

The first Hallyu festival on Jeju will be held sometime this fall and will be aimed at developing new cultural content in the region and utilizing the content as a tourist resource.

The Korea Tourism Organization also plans to promote local tourism by increasing the number of experiential vacation packages for small villages and rural areas.

관광공사는 이와 함께
농촌과 마을에서 즐기는 체험관광상품인
로캉스와 에코파티 등을 확대해
주민 주도의 지역관광을 활성화해 나간다는 계획입니다.
