2. Over 440,000 people traveling through Jeju Airport
10% increase compared to last year

Jeju International Airport is expected to be saturated during the Lunar New Year holidays, with over 440,000 people traveling through the airport.

According to the Jeju office of the Korea Airports Corporation, 446,000 people will be utilizing the airport starting today through next Tuesday. That’s a 10% increase compared to last year.

2,500 flights are expected to operate during this period, an increase of 9.4% compared to the previous year.

KAC will run a special team to deal with traffic issues during the holidays and inspect safety protocols of the airport.

28일까지 5일 동안
제주공항을 이용하게 될 항공편 승객은
모두 44만 6천여 명으로
지난해보다 10% 증가했습니다.

이 기간에
항공기 운항 편수는 2천 500여 편으로
지난해보다 9.4% 늘어날 것으로 예상됩니다.

이에 따라 공항공사는
설 연휴 특별교통대책반을 운영하고
시설 안전점검에 나설 예정입니다.
