2. Province to introduce controlled growth management method for city planning
Test sites include Yongdam-dong, Ara-dong, and Yoosuam-ri

Jeju City will test an urban planning development technique in areas where there are possibilities of reckless development.

The government will designate Yongdam-dong, Aradong and Yoosuam-ri in Aewol-eup as the selected areas for the introduction of the development management measures and will conduct a public survey on the 5th of next month.

In areas where growth management plans are confirmed and the requirements are implemented, incentives, such as mitigation of disposal costs or floor area ratio, will be provided.

The province plans to make a decision on whether to expand the system after considering the opinions of the residents of these three regions.

2. 용담·아라·유수암 '성장관리방안' 도입

도시계획기법을 시범 추진합니다.

제주시는
용담동과 아라동, 애월읍 유수암리 지역을
성장관리방안 수립대상으로 정하기로 하고
다음달 5일까지 주민열람을 실시합니다.

성장관리방안이 수립된 지역에서
기반시설계획과 건축물 용도, 경관계획 등의
의무사항과 권장사항 기준을 이행하면
건폐율이나 용적률 완화 같은 인센티브를 받게 됩니다.

제주시는
이들 3개 지역에서 우선 시행해 주민 의견을 수렴한 뒤
확대 여부를 결정할 방침입니다.
