Test results were negative for the virus

A new suspected case of coronavirus was tested in Jeju, but the results were negative for the virus.

A male in his 20s who lives on Jeju was reported to have developed symptoms of the novel coronavirus at around 10 p.m. on Friday. However, the test was confirmed to be negative.

The man left for China on the 4th of last month and returned to Jeju Island on January 15th after having traveled to the Weihai and Yantai regions.

The provincial government is urging all citizens who have recently traveled to China to self-quarantine and report any suspicious symptoms to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention by dialing 1339.

지난 15일 제주도 돌아온 것으로 알려졌습니다.

제주도는 최근 중국을 방문한 이력이 있을 경우
당분간 외출을 자제하고
발열과 기침, 콧물 등 의심증상이 나타나면
즉시 질병관리본부 콜센터 1339 등을 통해 신고해 줄 것을 당부했습니다.
