1. 9 Chinese tourists from Wuhan in Jeju being monitored
All have currently tested negative for infection

The Jeju provincial government has announced that nine Chinese residents of Wuhan who are currently visiting Jeju are being classified as active management targets.

The government disclosed that the initial test results of the nine individuals showed no symptoms of coronavirus.

As no symptoms are present, the disease prevention and control center’s manual states that the government cannot quarantine the individuals, but can instead monitor movement and physical conditions by routinely reaching out to them.

Four of the nine have passed the incubation period, but the remaining five people will be strictly monitored until February 2nd.

증상이 나타나지 않은 만큼
질병관리본부의 메뉴얼에 따라
이들에 대한 격리 등의 조치는 취할 수 없고
대신 지속적인 연락을 통해
이동경로와 몸상태를 체크하고 있다고 덧붙였습니다.

한편, 이들 9명 가운데 4명은
지난 28일 이후로
신종코로나바이러스 잠복기가 종료됐지만
나머지 5명은
내달 2일까지 상태를 지켜봐야 합니다.
