Province traces patients’ travel route via surveillance cameras

A Chinese coronavirus patient was found to have visited more than one pharmacy while vacationing on Jeju Island.

The province traced the patients’ travel route by analyzing surveillance footage and confirmed that the 52 year old woman made visits to several pharmacies to purchase fever and pain reducers.

According to the testimonies of her daughter and a tour guide, the patient bought the medicine to give as gifts to relatives in Wuhan, China.

Meanwhile, the provincial government has taken measures to quarantine two employees of the restaurant where the patient visited on January 24th.

제주도는
확진 판정을 받은 중국여성 52살 A씨의 행적을 파악하기 위해
CCTV분석 등을 진행한 결과
지난 23일 오전에도
약국을 잇따라 방문해
해열진통제 등을 구입한 것으로 알려졌습니다.

제주도는
A 씨의 딸, 당시 이들과 동행한 관광 가이드의 진술을 토대로
약국이 보일 때마다 방문해 감기약 등을 구입했으며
우한에 있는 친척을 위한 것이라고 주장했다고 설명했습니다.

한편, 제주도는
A 씨가 지난 24일 점심을 먹기 위해 들른
식당 종업원 2명을 추가로 자가격리 조치했습니다.
