Suspension of visa waiver program reduces number of tourists

Very few passengers can be found in the waiting rooms of the International Terminal at Jeju International Airport, as the visa waiver program has been temporarily suspended starting Tuesday.

International tourists can still visit the island, but the number of Chinese travelers has significantly declined.

It has been reported that very few passengers were on flights between China and Jeju, including flights from Shanghai and Beijing.
