1. Man identified to have been in close contact with coronavirus patient
Will remain in quarantine until Feb 7

A man who was in contact with Korea’s 12th confirmed coronavirus patient has been reported to be staying in Jeju.

The province was notified by the Jinju Health Center in South Gyeongsang Province at 11:30 a.m. on the 5th, after which the man was located and quarantined.

The quarantined patient landed on Jeju Island on February 2nd before traveling from Gangneung to Seoul Station on the same KTX train with the 12th confirmed patient on January 23rd.

According to the provincial government, no suspected symptoms have been identified as of yet, but the man will be quarantined in Jeju until the end of the incubation period, which ends on the 7th.

지난 1월 23일 같은 KTX를 타고
강릉에서 서울역까지 이동한 것으로 확인됐습니다.

제주도에 따르면
현재 A 씨에게 호흡기 증상이나 발열 등
의심 증상은 발견되지 않았으며
잠복기가 끝나는 7일까지 제주에서 격리조치 됩니다.
