2. No new secondary infection of coronavirus detected in Jeju
26 people tested, all results negative

There have been no cases in Jeju of secondary infections connected with the coronavirus.

The provincial government has stated that 11 people have been isolated, including hotel staff who were in contact with the confirmed Chinese patients and three other Chinese citizens who entered the country on the same plane.

The incubation period will end on February 7, and there have been no unusual symptoms thus far, as well as no secondary infections that have been confirmed in the area.

CCTV footage has also revealed that no other close contact was made with the confirmed Chinese tourists.

Meanwhile, 26 cases of the novel coronavirus have been tested in Jeju, with all testing negative for the virus.

제주여행 후 확진 판정을 받은 중국인과 관련해
호텔 직원 등 11명을 자가격리하고
같은 비행기를 타고 입도한 중국인 3명을
집중관찰대상으로 정해 지속적으로 관리하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

이들에 대한 잠복기는 오는 7일 종료되는 가운데
현재까지 특이사항은 없으며
이와는 별도로
지역 내 2차 감염은 현재까지 없는 것으로 확인됐습니다.

또 확진판정을 받은 중국인에 대한 동선을 CCTV로 확인한 결과
추가적인 밀접 접촉대상은 없는 것으로 나타났습니다.

한편 현재까지 제주지역에선
신종코로나바이러스 유증상자 26명이 검사를 받았지만
모두 음성 판정을 받았습니다.
