2. Jeju to offer humanitarian aid to Chinese cities
100,000 masks will be sent to 15 cities

The provincial government has announced an initiative to send 100,000 masks to sister and friendship cities in China.

The government will send masks worth 250 million won to 15 cities in China, including Dalian, Shanghai and Hainan, which has been an affiliated sister city of Jeju since 1995.

The decision to supply masks to China is a part of a humanitarian assistance initiative and the government will review a plan to offer additional support as the coronavirus crisis continues.

구호물품을 지원하는 도시는
1995년부터 자매결연을 맺고 있는
중국 하이난 성을 비롯해
다롄시와 상하이시 등 15곳이며

물품은 2억 5천만원 상당의 마스크 10만개입니다.

제주도는
중국 자매.우호도시에 대한 인도적 차원이라며
앞으로 상황을 보면서
추가 지원하는 방안을 검토할 예정입니다.
