5. Jeju reports lowest vacancy rate of shopping facilities
Lowest vacancy rate reported nationwide

The vacancy rate of mid-to-large-sized shopping facilities in Jeju is the lowest in the nation.

According to the Korea Appraisal Board, the nationwide vacancy rate of mid-to-large-sized shopping facilities during the 4th quarter last year was 11.4%. It is the highest figure since the survey was conducted.

The local vacancy rate was 5.6% on average which is the lowest figure among 17 cities and provinces in Korea.

The return on investment in Jeju dropped from 1.74% to 0.49% within a year showing deterioration of profitability.

이 가운데 제주지역 공실률은 평균 5.6%로
전국 17개 시도 가운데 가장 낮았습니다.

다만 1년 내 투자수익률은
제주가 1.74%에서 0.49%로 급락해
시장 수익성은 악화된 것으로 나타났습니다.
