80 events have been canceled or postponed due to COVID-19

The provincial government is reviewing whether to resume events and festivals that have been canceled or postponed due to the spread of COVID-19.

The province cited Seoul’s announcement that public gatherings do not have to be canceled due to the virus, so discussions are underway on the island of whether to resume local events.

Events that have already been canceled will be determined whether they can be rescheduled according to Seoul’s new guidelines and in cooperation with event organizers.

A total of 80 events have been canceled or postponed in Jeju due to the COVID-19 crisis.
