Province makes joint resolution to advance Jeju’s economy

The Citizens' Council has been launched to help the island overcome the economic crises caused by the COVID-19 virus.

The launching ceremony for the Citizens’ Council was held on the morning of the 13th, which was attended by Governor Won Hee-ryong, Provincial Council Chairman Kim Tae-seok and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kim Dae-hyung.

In a joint resolution, the council body agreed to help minimize the impact of COVID-19 by working together to overcome the regional economic crisis and further advance the Jeju economy.

The council plans to prepare short-term emergency support measures, as well as identify sustainable economic measures for long term growth.

코로나19 사태 극복을 위한
긴급 지원 대책을 마련하고
장기적으로는
지속가능한 경제 활성화 대책을 발굴할 방침입니다.
