Seat occupancy rates on flights increases by 30%
The tourism industry is beginning to show small signs of recovery. The number of domestic tourists to the island has increased for the first time since the figures declined sharply due to COVID-19.

However, this is an improvement as the rate of decrease has been 45% on average after the outbreak. It is the first time the rate fell below 30%.
The seat occupancy rate on flights to Jeju increased from 50% to 80% during the last weekend, showing a sign of recovery.
