Hospital rooms will be used for confirmed COVID-19 patients

The province is pushing forward with measures to secure single-person isolation rooms for confirmed patients of COVID-19.

The provincial government will review the plan that enables inpatients to stay in single-person rooms in eight local medical institutions. The plan is to prevent secondary infections of COVID-19 when a patient tests positive for the virus.

The province is also implementing a plan for transporting confirmed patients and setting up a direct mode of contact with medical institutions for emergency situations.

제주특별자치도는
병원 내 확진자가 발생했을 때 2차 전파 방지를 위해
입원환자들의 1인 1실 수용 방안을
도내 의료기관 8개소와 함께 검토하기로 했습니다.

이와 함께 엠뷸런스 확보 등 구체적인 이송계획을 수립하고
보건, 의료기관 간 업무 담당자와의 연락체계를 재정비해
신속하게 대응한다는 방침입니다.
