2. JNU to operate sheltered housing for Chinese students
Students to reside in isolated dorms for up to 2 weeks

Jeju National University will operate sheltered housing for Chinese students as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The university decided to run the isolated facilities, as there are a large number of Chinese students expected to start at the school for the new semester.

The students will reside in the facilities for up to two weeks as experts check for signs of fever twice a day.

During this period, the university will also restrain their outdoor activities and deliver meals and daily supplies to them.

제주대학교는
코로나 19 감염증 확산 방지를 위해
중국인 유학생 집중 보호시설을 운영한다고
밝혔습니다.

개강을 앞두고
대규모 중국인 유학생들의 유입이 예상되면서
캠퍼스 기숙사동에
독립된 보호시설을 운영하기로 한 것입니다.

보호시설에서 유학생들은 2주동안 생활하게 되며
전문가들이
하루 2차례 발열 검사 등을 실시하게 됩니다.

집중 보호기간에 식사와 편의 용품 등은
대학측에서 공급해
외출을 최대한 억제한다는 방침입니다.
