5. Dongbaek-donsan Mountain designated as an eco-tourism area
Nomination for special zone valid until 2022

The wetlands of Dongbaek-dongsan Mountain in Seonheuli, Jocheon-eup, Jeju, have been designated as an eco-tourism area by the Ministry of Environment.

The Jeju City government has announced that the wetlands of Seonheul Dongbaek were re-designated as an eco-tourism zone until the year 2022 after receiving the highest score of 89.1 in the Ministry of Environment’s evaluation.

As a result, the Dongbaek-dongsan Mountain will benefit from publicity, consulting, and budget support.

Jeju City will continue to develop and operate eco-tourism programs and create opportunities for local residents to also participate in future programs.

이에 따라 생태관광지 홍보와 컨설팅, 예산 지원 등 혜택을 받게 됩니다.

제주시는 앞으로
생태관광 프로그램 개발과 운영,
지역주민 역량 강화사업 등을 지속적으로 추진해 나갈 계획입니다.
