The leaders reported that the nation's tourism industry is on the verge of collapse and urged the government to take measures to boost the domestic economy by promoting domestic tourism.

The government withdrew their recommendation for restricting public events, and demanded that the safety of travel be guaranteed via a thorough quarantine system.

President Bu Dong-suk (부동석) of the Jeju Tourism Association requested assistance from other local associations to help promote tourism on the island.
