2. Province issues self-quarantine of 67 individuals
1st confirmed patient prompts heightened precautionary measures

Sixty-seven citizens that came into contact with the soldier who traveled to Daegu and confirmed as the first case of COVID-19 have been placed in self-isolation.

The provincial government announced that the 67 people who were in contact with the soldier includes a T’way Airlines flight attendant, flight passengers, a taxi driver, employees of a convenience store, employees of Halla Hospital where the patient received the first confirmation examination, and members of his military unit.

Disinfection of all facilities and modes of transportation the soldier utilized were also finalized.

The province is advising residents to call 1339 or a local health center if any suspicious symptoms appear, especially if there was any contact with a confirmed patient, or if a recent trip to Daegu City was made.

코로나 19 첫 확진자로 확인되면서 이 사병과
접촉했던 67명이 자가격리조치됐습니다.

제주특별자치도는
이번 확진자가 탑승했던
티웨이 항공사의 승무원과 탑승객,
공항에서 부대로 이동중에 이용한 택시기사,
부대앞 편의점,
1차 확진검사를 받았던 한라병원 직원,
그리고 소속 군부대 부대원 등 67명을 자가격리조치했다고 밝혔습니다.

특히 항공기 탑승객의 경우
확진자를 중심으로 좌우앞뒤 3열에 있었던 승객을
자가격리대상으로 정했다고 설명했습니다.

또 항공기와 택시, 제주공항, 편의점,
한라병원, 군부대에 대한 방역소독도 진행했다고 덧붙였습니다.

제주도는
확진자와 관련해 의심증상이 있거나
대구 방문 이력이 있으면서
기침이나 발열 등 증상이 나타나면
1339 또는 관할보건소로 신고해 줄 것을 당부하고 있습니다.
