3. Province takes measures to heighten disinfection protocol
Common public areas and items are being sterilized

The provincial government is on a mission to strengthen protocols for disinfection and will re-examine whether to permit public events, as a COVID-19 patient was confirmed on the island.

The province is disinfecting all public offices, tourist attractions and community service centers. Areas of the island that are frequented by large numbers of people are being sterilized, as well as common public objects.

The local government is also re-evaluating the decision to resume public events, which was initially viewed with a positive outlook before the first case of COVID-19 was confirmed.

Meanwhile, the province will ask Seoul to deploy more epidemiological investigators to the island.

방역 범위를 대폭 확대하고
각종 행사 개최도 전면 재검토 하기로 했습니다.

제주도는 모든 관공서와 관광지,
읍면 사무소에 대해 방역을 실시하고
다수인이 사용하거나 거쳐가는
모든 지점과 물건에 대한 소독과 방역을 실시하고 있습니다.

또 재개여부를 검토했던
각종 행사 개최여부도 전면 재검토하고 있습니다.

한편 제주도는
이번 확진자 발생에 따라
정부에 역학조사관의 추가 지원을 건의하기로 했습니다.
