8. Number of house sales continues to drop
Singugan moving season has no positive effect on sales of homes

Although last month was the Singugan moving season in Jeju, statistics show that the number of house sales has decreased.

According to the report released by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the number of house sales in January fell by 11.5 percent to a total of 888 sales, a drop from the previous month’s number of 1,003.

In comparison to the average transaction of January’s sales volume for the past five years, this year marked a decrease of 23%.

However, the number of monthly rent transactions stood at 1,404 last month which was an increase of 18 percent from the previous month.

올 1월 주택 매매 전월세 거래 동향에 따르면
제주지역 주택 매매 거래량은
888건으로
전월 1천 3건보다 11.5% 줄었습니다.

특히 최근 5년 동안 1월 평균 거래량과 비교해서는
23% 감소했습니다.

반면 지난달 전월세 거래량은
1천 404건으로
전월 1천 100여 건보다 18% 늘어 대조를 보였습니다.
