Province emphasizes that no transmission has occurred in Jeju

It has been confirmed that the two patients of COVID-19 in Jeju were infected in Daegu City.

The province announced that the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that the infections did not occur within the island, but the site of contagion was actually Daegu City.

The province reassured the public that no transmission has occurred within the island.

The two patients were tested positive for COVID-19 after traveling to Daegu for a period of 3 to 5 days.

모두 제주에서가 아닌,
대구지역에서 감염된 것으로 밝혀졌습니다.

제주 방역당국에 따르면
질병관리본부는
제주지역 코로나 확진 환자 2명의 감염원이
제주가 아닌 대구라고 공식적으로 밝혔습니다.

이에따라 현재까지
도내 지역 간 감염은 없는 상태라고 설명했습니다.

앞서 제주지역 코로나 확진 환자 2명은
지난 13일 대구를 방문한 뒤
3일에서 5일 가량 체류했다가 제주로 돌아와
코로나 양성 판정을 받았습니다.
