5. Students and staff who visited Daegu not placed in self-quarantine
None had contact with infected persons or traveled on same routes

According to the Provincial Office of Education, some 100 students and teaching staff had visited Daegu City and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province recently, but none of them will be subject to self-quarantine.

The office had conducted a survey from February 20th to the 21st and found that the students and teaching staff recently visited Daegu City and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, but none had direct contact with any infected persons and did not travel along the same routes. Therefore, none were placed on the list of self-quarantine.

The province has, however, ordered them to refrain from going outside as a part of voluntary protection measures.

제주도교육청은 지난 20일과 21일 이틀에 걸쳐
대구와 경북지역을 여행하거나 체류한
학생과 교직원에 대한 전수 조사를 벌인 결과
모두 100여 명인 것으로 나타났습니다.

하지만 코로나19 확진자 등과 접촉하거나
동선에 포함되는 경우는 없어
자격 격리대상자는 없다고 밝혔습니다.

다만 만일에 사태에 대비해
외출 자제를 권고하는 자율보호 조치를 내렸다고 덧붙였습니다.
