The COVID-19 crisis is a rapidly developing story, and as of now there are over 1,500 cases recorded in Korea.
This is up from 1,200 confirmed cases earlier today.
Now, Todd Thacker brings us up to speed on developments in Jeju, where the province is preparing more medical staff and facilities in the event of a worst case scenario.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 infections nationwide has now exceeded 1,200.
In Jeju, two cases have been reported.

Seoul has raised its alert level to "red" -- the highest of four tiers -- in light of the rapid spread of COVID-19.
Jeju province has also been gearing up to battle the deadly virus.
[slug] Emergency operation system in place
An emergency operation system, which is equivalent to measures implemented during wartime, is in place to help stop the spread of the virus on the island.

Jeju City and Seogwipo City are reviewing the deployment of public health physicians and civilian medical personnel to assess a response to possible mass infections on the island.
[slug] More details of travel route of 2nd patient identified
Local authorities are tracing the travel routes of the two previously confirmed patients in Jeju and anyone who subsequently came into contact with them.
Additional details of the travel route taken by the second patient have been identified and released to the public.
The second patient visited a fast food restaurant around 6 PM on February 19th and a bakery and a bank at 1PM on the 20th.

Epidemiological surveyors have confirmed additional places the second patient visited through her testimony and surveillance cameras. Every site has been disinfected.
