3. Road connecting Jeju Airport to 5-day market opens Feb 28
Traffic expected to improve

The bypass road linking Jeju International Airport to the Jeju Minsok 5-day Market will be open on the 28th.

The City of Jeju announced the news after the construction project was finally completed since breaking ground in May 2017.

The new bypass road was created to ease the traffic around the airport's intersection. It cost a total of 49.5 billion won and is 30 meters wide along a 2.2-kilometer length.

The City also plans to complete the construction of a 900-meter-long road between the airport and Yongmun-ro by December next year.

3. 제주공항~오일장 도심 우회도로 내일 개통 (번역가)

제주국제공항과 오일시장을 잇는 우회도로가 28일 개통합니다.

제주시는
지난 2017년 5월부터 시행한
우회도로 개설공사를 마무리하고
28일부터 개통한다고 밝혔습니다.

총 사업비 495억 원이 투입된 우회도로는
2.2km 구간에 폭 30미터로
도로 개통으로
공항 교차로 일대 교통 흐름이 개선될 전망입니다.

제주시는
이와 함께 공항과
용문로 동서방향 9백미터 구간의 지하차도 개설공사도
내년 12월 완료할 계획입니다.
