4. Oh Young-hoon of Democratic Party wins primary elections
Beats out opposing candidate Boo Seung-chan

Oh Young-hoon of the Democratic Party of Korea has been confirmed as the official candidate for the April 15 general elections.

The nomination committee of the Democratic Party announced the results of the nominations of 30 constituencies nationwide on the night of the 26th.

Representative Oh Young-hoon was confirmed as the candidate for Jeju Province in result of the primary elections that were held from the 24th until yesterday.

The representative passed on words of encouragement to the opposing candidate, Bu Seung-chan (부승찬), and said he would continue to contribute to the Moon Jae-in government by winning the general election.

Opposing candidate Boo Seung-chan also made a statement accepting the results of the primaries and congratulated Oh Young-hoon on his win.

문재인 정부의 안정적인 국정 운영에 기여하겠다고 밝혔습니다.

한편 부승찬 예비후보는 입장문을 내고
경선 결과에 승복하며
오영훈 후보에게 축하를 보낸다고 말했습니다.
