4. Two more weeks of school cancelations
Emergency care services extended

The opening of kindergarten, elementary, middle and high schools is delayed for another two weeks.

Seoul says they will delay the opening day of school by another two weeks to prevent the spread of COVID19.

The Jeju Provincial Office of Education is extending emergency care services at kindergartens and elementary schools until the 20th. The child care services are aimed at reducing the burden of childcare for working parents.

Free online content, such as digital textbooks and EBS videos are being provided in order to minimize the gap in students' learning during the extended break. Online study rooms will provide students with preliminary assignments.

4. 개학 2주 더 연기…온라인 수업

유치원과 초·중·고등학교 개학이 2주 더 늦춰졌습니다.

정부는 코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 개학일을 오는 23일까지
2주 더 연장한다고 밝혔습니다.

이에 따라 제주도교육청은 맞벌이 부부 등의 보육 불편을 줄이기 위해
오는 20일까지 유치원과 초등학교에서의 긴급 돌봄교실을 연장 운영하기로 했습니다.

또 휴업 기간 학생들의 학습 공백을 최소화하기 위해
디지털 교과서와 EBS 동영상 등 온라인 교재를 무료로 제공하고
온라인 학습방 등을 통해 예습과제 등을 제공하기로 했습니다.
