6. Test operation of 'car-free streets' near Gwandeokjeong to start in May
Programs for citizens to be provided

The area near Gwandeokjeong Pavilion will be piloted as a car-free zone starting in May.

Jeju City is operating the car-free street in order to manage the Gwan deok jeong area as a civic culture plaza.

The car-free street policy will be implemented once a month from May and includes the 520-meter section from Seomun-ro to Jungang-ro Intersection.

Jeju City is changing the general route of public transportation, arranging parking spaces, and operating programs for citizens during that time.

6. 관덕로 '차 없는 거리' 5월부터 시범 운영
제주시 관덕정 일대가
오는 5월부터 차 없는 거리로 시범 운영됩니다.

제주시는 관덕정 일대를
시민 문화광장으로 운영하기 위해
차 없는 거리를 시범 운영하기로 했습니다.

차 없는 거리는
중앙로 사거리부터 서문로 사거리까지
관덕로 520미터 구간에 대해
5월부터 매달 1차례 운영됩니다.

제주시는 해당 기간에
대중교통 운행노선을 변경하고
주차 공간을 마련하는 한편
시민이 참여하는 프로그램을 운영한다는 방침입니다.
