2. Official campaign for the general elections underway
Candidates and volunteers can appeal for support in variety of ways

The official election campaign for the April 15 National Assembly elections is underway. The campaign runs for two weeks.

Candidates, candidates' spouses, and election officials will be able to campaign using shoulder straps, badges and other props.

In addition, candidates and voters can appeal for support in public places, and campaign using the Internet, e-mail, text messages, and social media platforms.

Public speaking platforms will be available from 7 am to 10 pm, the amplifier system is from 6 am to 11 pm and recording from 7 am to 9 pm.

Candidates can make broadcast speeches twice each via TV or radio media.

Volunteers are not allowed to ask for or receive payment, and if they spread false information about other candidates, they will be punished according to the Public Official Election Act.

2. 4월 2일부터 2주간 총선 공식 선거운동 돌입

4.15 총선에 따른 공식선거운동이 4월 2일부터 2주간 시작됩니다.

이에따라 후보자와 배우자, 선거사무원은
어깨띠나 표찰, 소품을 활용한 선거운동을 할 수 있게 됩니다.

또 후보자는 물론 유권자 역시
공개장소에서 지지를 호소할 수 있고
인터넷이나 전자우편,
문자메시지, SNS를 활용한 선거운동이 가능합니다.

공개장소 연설은
오전 7시부터 밤 10시까지 가능하며
확성장치는
오전 6시부터 밤 11시까지,
녹음기 또는 녹화장비는 오전 7시부터 밤 9시까지 사용 가능합니다.

후보자는
TV나 라디오 매체를 통해
각각 두 번씩 방송 연설을 할 수 있습니다.

자원봉사자는
대가를 요구하거나 받을 수 없고
후보자 비방 또는
허위사실을 유포하면 공직선거법에 따라 처벌받게 됩니다.
