4. Nationwide daycare centers to remain closed
Jeju to strengthen disinfection for emergency child care centers

With Seoul's decision to extend the closure of normal daycare services nationwide, the operation of emergency childcare services will be extended.

Jeju Island is providing additional disinfection measures for the children in emergency child care. Two masks and hand sanitizers for each child as well as each child care teacher are also being provided.

They plan to establish a frequent disinfection system due to the prolonged extension of the closure.

The provincial government is also providing a spray-type disinfection system to be used personally by the emergency daycare centers.

There are 11,700 emergency child care users, making up 52 percent of all registered children.

4. 어린이집 휴원 기간 연장, 방역 추가 실시

정부의 전국 어린이집 휴원 연장 결정에 따라
제주도내 어린이집 488개소에 대한 휴원기간도 연장됩니다.

이에 따라 제주도는
이들 어린이집에 대한 전면 방역을 추가 실시하고
아동과 보육교직원 1인당 2매씩 마스크와 손소독제를 지원합니다.

또 어린이집 휴원 연장 장기화에 대비해
수시 방역체계 구축을 위한
분사형 방역기도 지원할 계획입니다.

현재 긴급보육 이용 아동은 1만 1천 700여명으로
등록 아동의 52%에 이르고 있습니다.
