1. Intensive social distancing extended through April 19
Overseas arrivals, returning Int'l students cause concern


The government is extending the high-intensity social distancing period for another two weeks until April 19th. The policy was originally scheduled to end on April 5th.

The spread of the COVID-19 virus in Korea has stabilized compared to the middle of February, but the situation is still severe. There are confirmed cases of overseas inflow, including international students studying abroad.

The government will continue to advise all religious facilities, sports facilities, and PC cafes to suspend operations and strengthen quarantine management.

정부가 5일로 끝날 예정이었던
고강도 사회적 거리두기를
오는 19일까지 2주 더 연장하기로 했습니다.

국내 코로나19 바이러스 확산세가 초기보다 안정화되긴 했지만
유학생 등 해외유입 확진 사례가 꾸준히 발생하는 등
아직까지
상황이 엄중하다며 이같이 결정했습니다.

이에 따라 종교시설과 체육시설, PC방 등
밀집 시설에 대한 운영 중단 권고가 계속되고
방역 관리 역시 강화될 전망입니다.
