2. Closure of social welfare facilities extended
Relief services available for vulnerable people

The province is extending the closure of local social welfare facilities in a continued effort to prevent cluster infections of the COVID-19 virus.

Over 1,000 social welfare facilities for the elderly, the disabled, and area residents are closed indefinitely.

The facilities have all been closed since February 25th when Seoul raised the COVID-19 alert to the highest level.

The province is minimizing the impact of the closures on vulnerable citizens by providing relief services such as lunch box delivery and day-care for children.

연장 대상 시설은
경로당 등 노인시설과
장애인시설, 종합사회복지관 등 1천 1백여 곳입니다.

제주도는
감염병 위기경보가 심각 단계로 격상된
지난 2월 25일부터 사회복지시설을 휴관했고
운영 재개가 결정될 때까지 연장 조치를 유지할 계획입니다.

도시락 제공과
긴급돌봄 서비스 등으로
이용자들의 불편과 돌봄 공백을 최소화할 방침입니다.
