4. Jeju strengthens monitoring of self-quarantined people
Employees increase from 148 to 570

The number of people in self-quarantine on the island has increased significantly. Jeju is strengthening its monitoring and management of this group. The island is increasing the number of employees to manage them from 148 to 570.

A portion of the employees' responsibilities include making phone calls to confirm they are maintaining their quarantine.

In addition, the local government is recommending quarantined people to install an app checking their traces and monitoring their movement lines around the clock through a Geographic Information System.
