3. 13th case of COVID-19 in Jeju confirmed
The patient is Chinese national arriving from USA

The 13th person infected with covid-19 is a female Chinese teenager returning to her home in Jeju from the USA. She came in contact with 6 people who are currently in quarantine since the 14th.

According to the epidemiological investigation on the teenager, she arrived alone at the Incheon International airport at 5:20 in the afternoon on the 12th and spent the night at a hotel in Seoul. The next day, she came to Jeju by flight departing from Gimpo at 6:40 in the morning.

The Jeju government is also reporting that she remained at her home after returning from the airport by taxi alone.

Jeju put 6 contacts including two flight attendants, three passengers, and one taxi driver in quarantine.

Since she reportedly did not notice that she had to take a walk-through test at the Jeju airport, the government contacted her to take a test and it turned out positive.

The teenager is receiving isolated treatment in the Jeju University Hospital and is currently in stable condition.

제주도는 14일 미국을 방문했던 10대 중국인 여성 A씨가
코로나 19 확진 판정을 받았다고 밝히고,
이 환자와 접촉한 6명이 자가격리됐습니다.

제주특별자치도는
A 양에 대한 역학조사결과
지난 12일 오후 5시 20분쯤
미국에서 인천국제공항으로 혼자 입국해 서울에서 1박을 했으며
다음날인 13일 오전 6시40분
김포발 항공편으로 제주에 도착한 것으로 확인됐습니다.

제주 도착 후 혼자 택시를 타고 자택으로 이동했으며
이후 계속해서 집에 머물고 있었다고 진술했다고 밝혔습니다.

제주공항 내 워크 스루에서의 선별진료소 검사 사실을 모르고 있었다가
제주도의 연락을 받고
뒤늦게 검사를 받아 확진 판정을 받은 것으로 나타났습니다.

제주도는 확진자와 접촉한
항공편 승무원 2명과 승객 3명,
택시기사 1명에 대해 자가격리조치했습니다.

A 양은 제주대학교병원 격리병상에서 입원치료중이며
상태는 양호한 것으로 알려지고 있습니다.
