7. JDC finances ￦5B into rural village promotion fund
Funds expedited to support farm and fishing communities during COVID-19

The Jeju Free International City Development Center financed the farming and fishing village promotion fund on April 14th.

JDC financed 5 billion won into the fund.

JDC implemented the funding during the second half of the year in 2019. However, JDC decided to execute the funding earlier this year due to COVID-19. It added that it hopes that the funds will resolve financial difficulties facing farming and fishery households.
