6. Illegal immigrants allowed to voluntarily report departure without flight ticket
Departure date can be postponed for up to 30 days

Illegal immigrants whose departure flights have been suspended due to COVID 19 are allowed to voluntarily report their departure without booking a ticket.

The Jeju Immigration and Foreign Affairs Office announced that the departure date can be postponed for up to 30 days after receiving a voluntary departure report.

This policy is valid on the condition that they must leave the country as soon as the flight service resumes. If the flight schedule does not resume within 30 days, they will have to apply for another extension.

A penalty fee will be imposed on anyone who leaves after the voluntary departure period which ends on June 30th.


6. 불법체류자, 항공권 없이도 자진출국 신고 허용

코로나19로 출국 항공편이 중단된 불법체류자들은
항공권 없이도 자진출국 신고가 허용됩니다.

제주출입국.외국청은
코로나19 영향으로 자국행 항공권 예매가 어려운
불법체류 외국인의 경우
항공권이 없어도 자진출국 신고를 받고
30일간 출국을 유예한다고 밝혔습니다.

다만 항공편 운항이 재개되는 즉시 출국해야 하며
30일 내에 항공편이 재개되지 않을 경우에는 연장을 받아야 합니다.

한편 자진출국 신고 기간이 끝나는 6월 30일 이후에는
자진출국 하더라도 범칙금이 부과됩니다.
