2. Jeju maintains high-intensity social distancing for additional 2 weeks
Precaution after 200,000 visit Jeju during 6-day holiday

The national government has decided to ease social distancing policies and switch to a policy of “everyday life quarantine”, however Jeju province will maintain their high level social distancing policy for the next two weeks.

The island says that it’s necessary to maintain high-intensity distancing for the next two weeks as more than 200,000 tourists visited Jeju during the holiday period that ran from the 30th to the 5th of this month.

The government is planning to maintain the current high-intensity social distancing policies until the 19th and implement the government's everyday life quarantine system after reassessing the updated situation in two weeks.

생활방역으로 전환하기로 한 가운데
제주지역은
앞으로 2주간 더 고강도 사회적 거리두기가 유지됩니다.

제주도는 지난달 30일부터
5일까지 이어지는 연휴기간에
20만 명 이상의 관광객이 제주를 방문함에 따라
앞으로 2주간
고강도 방역체계를 유지할 필요가 있다며 이같은 방침을 밝혔습니다.

이에 따라오는 19일까지 현재와 같은
고강도 사회적 거리두기 수준을 유지하고
2주후 종합적인 상황을 판단해
정부의 생활방역 체계를 따를 계획입니다.
