2. Emergency status: day 100
12 out of 13 confirmed cases discharged from hospital

It has been 100 days since Jeju Province entered emergency status protocols in response to COVID-19.

With 13 confirmed cases in Jeju, 12 have been discharged from the hospital, and only the 5th confirmede cas is still being treated at Jeju National University Hospital.

4 of the patients were confirmed as travelers to other provinces, with 8 of the patients confirmed as overseas travelers. The other case was confirmed as secondary cases of contact with confirmed patients.

During this process, Jeju Island also filed a civil claim for damages against a mother and daughter from Gangnam who took a trip to Jeju even though they had symptoms in March.

There have been no confirmed cases during the recent golden holiday period, which saw 196,000 tourists flocking to Jeju over the past 7 days.
Regardless of the national government's social distance easing, Jeju Province says they will maintain border quarantine measures with an emphasis on airports and seaports.

2. 코로나 비상체제 100일…13명 확진 중 12명 퇴원

제주특별자치도가
코로나19사태에 따른 비상체제에 들어간지 100일을 맞았습니다.

현재까지 제주에서
확진자 13명이 발생한 가운데 12명은 퇴원했으며
현재 5번 환자 1명만이 제주대학교병원에서 치료받고 있습니다.

확진자 가운데 4명은 다른 지역 방문자이며
8명은 해외 방문 이력자,
나머지 1명은
확진자 접촉에 의한 2차 감염사례로 격리 중 확진판정을 받았습니다.

이 과정에서 제주도는 지난 3월
증상이 있음에도 제주여행을 강행한
강남 모녀에 대해 민사상 손해배상을 청구하기도 했습니다.

특히 지난 7일간 관광객 19만 6천명이 몰렸던 황금연휴기간에
현재까지 확진자 발생은 없는 것으로 나타났습니다.

제주도는 정부의 사회적 거리두기 완화와 관계없이
공항만을 중심으로
국경수준의 방역조치를 당분한 유지할 방침이라고 설명했습니다.
