1. 14th COVID-19 case confirmed in Jeju
Patient visited a club in Itaewon

An additional COVID-19 case was confirmed in Jeju on the 9th.

The patient is a female in her thirties who visited a club in Itaewon, Seoul on the 5th.

She is working as a skin care specialist at a clinic in Jeju City. She came in direct contact with 127 people while working for three days from the 7th until the 9th. There is a growing concern of community infection from COVID-19.

The Jeju provincial government gave everyone who came in contact with the patient an order to self-quarantine and is monitoring for suspicious symptoms by phone.

The province is asking that islanders who have a similar movement history as the patient or have visited a club in Itaewon between April 29th and May 5th to report voluntarily to the nearest health center.

코로나19 청정지역 선포 하루 만인 지난 9일
제주지역에서 신규 확진자가 발생했습니다.

제주지역 14번째 코로나 확진자는 30대 여성으로
지난 5일 서울 이태원 클럽을 방문했던 것으로 전해졌습니다.

이 여성은 제주시내 한 병원에서 피부관리사로 근무하고 있는데
확진판정을 받기 전인 지난 7일부터 3일간 고객 127명과
직접 접촉을 했던 것으로 알려지면서 지역감염 우려가 커지고 있습니다.

제주도는 이들에 대해 자가격리 통보를 하는 한편
전화문진을 통해 의심 증상 여부를 확인하고 있습니다.

제주도는 확진자와 동선이 일치하거나
지난달 29일부터 이달 6일 사이 이태원 클럽을 방문한 도민은
인근 보건소에 자진 신고해줄 것을 당부했습니다.
