2. Additional funding proposal submitted for COVID-19 emergency relief funding
4% increase from original budget

Jeju Province has organized a revised supplementary proposal for COVID-19 emergency support funding. The new funding total is approximately 6.05 trillion KRW and has been submitted to the Jeju Provincial Council for review.

The additional budget is a 4 percent, or 230 billion won increase from the original provincial budget. It is covered mainly by national subsidies as well as Jeju province’s Financial Stability Fund.

184.1 billion won has been set aside for emergency funding at the national level and 46.8 billion won from the Jeju province emergency support fund for families with 4 members or more.

The proposed supplementary budget plan will be reviewed at the Jeju Provincial Council's special session starting this week.

2. '코로나19 긴급생계 지원' 추경안 도의회 제출

제주특별자치도가 코로나19 긴급 생계지원을 위한
6조 530억원 규모의 추경안을 편성해 제주도의회에 제출했습니다.

이번 추경안은 5 trillion 823 Billion
본 예산 대비 4%인 2천 300억원 증가한 것으로
국고보조금과
재정안정화기금으로 충당됐습니다.

특히 정부 차원의 긴급재난지원금으로 1천 841억원이,
제주형 재난긴급생활지원금 2차분으로
4인가구 이상 100만원 지급을 골자로 한 468억원이 편성됐습니다.

이번에 제출된 추가경정 예산안은
이번주부터 열리는
제주도의회 임시회에서 처리될 예정입니다.
