4. Volunteer hours for middle school students reduced
12 hours of volunteer work required to receive full marks

The number of volunteer work hours required by middle school students is being reduced because of delays to the first semester caused by COVID-19. The volunteer work hours are reflected in the high school admission process.

The Provincial Office of Education presented the plan for the high school admission process. The plan stipulates that to get the full six marks out of six in volunteer work, students need to fill 12 hours this year. This is eight hours less compared to last year's admission process.

This revised admission process plan also applies to year 7 and 8 students.

고입 학생봉사활동 12시간 한시적 단축

코로나19로 등교 개학이 늦어지면서
고등학교 입학 전형에 반영되는
학생 봉사활동 시간이 한시적으로 단축됩니다.

제주도교육청은 이 같은 내용을 담은
2021학년도 제주도 고등학교 입학전형 기본계획을 발표했습니다.

이에 따라 올해 6점 만점을 받으려면
봉사활동을
연간 20시간을 채워야 했지만 12시간으로 조정됐습니다.

이번 변경된 고입 전형은
현재 중학교 3학년 뿐만 아니라
1학년과 2학년 학생도 똑같이 적용됩니다.
