6. Hallasan Mountain's Rhododendron in full bloom
Expected to peak around the 15th

Hallasan mountain’s Rhododendron are beginning to deepen in color to pink and are expected to peak this weekend.

The Jeju World Heritage Headquarters is predicting that the Hairy Korean Rhododendron, which began to bloom at an altitude of 1,400 and above early this month, will peak around the 15th.

The Rhododendron will bloom in many areas, from the Yongsil area to Manse Hill, as well as Witse Oreum to Baengnokdam.

한라산을 분홍빛으로 물들이기 시작한 털진달래가
이번 주말 절정에 달할 전망입니다.

제주도 세계유산본부는
이달 초순
해발 1천400고지 이상에서 개화를 시작한 털진달래가
오는 15일쯤
절정을 이룰 것으로 전망했습니다.

털진달래는 영실 병풍바위 일대부터 개화해
남벽영실 병풍바위순환로,
만세동산, 윗세오름을 거쳐 백록담까지 만개하게 됩니다.
