Classes to return with modified conditions

The spread of COVID-19 from Itaewon clubs has led to the confirmation of cases in underage minors, but the government announced that they are pushing ahead with classes for high school seniors on the 20th as scheduled.

On the 14th, the Ministry of Education declared that they are not considering any additional postponement of high school classes at this time. This decision is in consideration of the high school academic schedule.

They added that each city and district office are preparing different options including, alternating biweekly classes for all students except high school seniors as well as splitting students into different rooms to have mirror classes, where other groups of students will attend classes through live video streams.

이태원 클럽발 코로나19가 확산하면서 미성년 확진자가 나오고 있지만, 정부는 오는 20일 고등학교 3학년 등교 수업을 예정대로 추진중이라고 밝혔습니다.

교육부는 14일 고3 학사일정이나 내신 대비 수업 여론 등을 고려해 현 시점에서 고3 등교 수업 추가 연기는 검토하지 않고 있다고 말했습니다.

그러면서 전국 시도교육청별로 분반과 학급 일부가
다른 반에서 수업 영상을 시청하는 미러링,
고3 등 수험생을 제외한 격주 수업 등을 준비하고 있다고
덧붙였습니다.
